Drive through the 7-mile stretch of Corrales Road Scenic Byway and take a detour through Casa San Ysidro, a restored Spanish Colonial rancho complete with more than 1,300 historic and religious items.

Experience the natural beauty and surroundings of Jemez Pueblo and Jemez Springs where you can take in natural hot springs and rock formations know as Battleship Rock and Soda Dam, drive through the Gilman Tunnels and make time for the Valles Caldera National preserve, which is one of the largest volcanic calderas (basins) in the world.  Nature truly abounds in this pristine preserve.  Also no trip is complete to Jemez without a stop at Ponderosa Winery.

For vintage car enthusiasts J&R Vintage Auto Museum is a must with over 60 fully restored vintage automobiles.  Feel free to take one home because they are all for sale.

While history extends throughout the region, you can step into the future and take in a concert or show at the state of the art Santa Ana Star Center.  Make sure to make a small donation to one of the three pueblo casinos located in Sandoval County, play golf, relax at the spa or take in the views and city lights of Albuquerque from high atop the Rio Rancho mesa and watch the watermelon glow of sunset reflect off the Sandia Mountains.  New Mexico sunsets are truly among the most beautiful in the world.
