About Me
My name is Nolan, and I am an English teacher. I love living in Cape Town because it's a vibrant cosmopolitan city that has it all: natural beauty, breathtaking beaches, trendy markets, restaurants and bars, picturesque wine farms, and a diverse population that is equally proud of their city.

You have to go to
Table Mountain. While this might be an obvious choice, it does provide visitors with incomparable views.
Here's one fun activity you can do
Wine tasting – there are so many wine farms in and around Cape Town, and the neigbouring regions of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek.
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock. The Old Biscuit Mill is where locals and visitors meet on a Saturday morning. It offers a range of local and international food, farm stalls, boutiques, bistros, craft shops and live music.
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
There are several restaurants on Long Street and Kloof Street, but a personal favourite is Gourmet Boerie, where you can enjoy gourmet versions of boerewors, a traditional South African sausage.
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
1. Castle of Good Hope
2. Greenmarket Square
3. Company’s Garden
4. Long Street
5. Hike up Lion’s Head
My extra insider tip for you is
Check the weather forecast first before going up to Table Mountain.
