My extra insider tip for you is
Drive around the loop on your own – avoid the 4pm-8pm rush hour. The chance to drive Circle City allows you to see some sights from the loop, as it’s called, in a city known for the Indy 500. It's a pleasurable, fairly inexpensive activity. Occasionally, we have gondolas in from Italy that will cruise up and down the canal, and staff who will sing to you, if you wish. There’s lots to do here if you give the city a chance.
