About Me
My name is Donna Glass, and I am a self-employed tourism operator. I love living in Prince Edward Island because it's not a city, but rather a small town, which has has a working fishing harbor. The best trout and salmon fly fishing river in the province also runs through more/less
You have to go to
Redhead Fishing Harbor
Here's one fun activity you can do
Cycle the Confederation Bike Trail from Morell to St. Peters Bay. Rent a bike from Kingfisher Outdoors.
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
Indian Bridge on the Morell River. It's a quiet, unparalleled piece of nature where you will see fish jumping, eagles, ducks and kingfishers. You'll feel the serenity as soon as you arrive.
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
Holy Cow Restaurant.
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
1. Rent a bicycle from Kingfisher Outdoors and ride from Morell to St Peters Bay along the Confederation Bike Trail (old railway tracks). This section is voted the most scenic of the trail in all of PEI.
2. Rent a canoe/kayak or paddle board and paddle up (or down) the Morell River.
3. Hang out a the Fishing Harbor and chat with the local fisherman.
4. Go to Lighthouse Beach for a swim and photo ops.
My extra insider tip for you is
