"Love the people more than the monuments! Get into the ..."

You have to go to
Mercato di Ballaro, Vucciria o Capo, are typical markets where you can smell fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and taste delicious, Sicilian street food, and hear vendors shouting to promote their products.

Here's one fun activity you can do
Night life is fun. You have many chances according to your mood for the kind of evening you prefer.

Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
Piazza Marina is a peaceful place where I go for the Sunday Vintage Market, and whenever I want to "hide myself in a nest" inside the garden.

Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
Trattoria Basile, located in via Bara dell'Olivella in front of the Teatro Massimo. You can find both street food like Arancina, Pane ca Meusa (I recommend "maritata," with cheese), and my favourite Panelle e Crocche, and handmade pasta or other typical dishes.

Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
1. Corso Vittorio Emanuele, a street within the entrances of the city in the past; Porta Felice next to the port (go for a walk at the seaside"La Cala" until you reach Foro Italico Park, where you can chill out and eat a gelato) and Porta Nuova next to the Cathedral. Nearby you can also visit La Chiesa di San Francesco D'Assisi, Piazza Rivoluzione and Piazza Sant'Anna.
2. Via Maqueda, a perpendicular street where you can visit Piazza Bellini and Piazza Pretoria or Piazza della Vergogna on the one side, or on the other the Teatro Massimo.
3. Via Ruggero Settimo, a street full of shoe shops that ends in Piazza Castelnuovo, where you can visit Teatro Politeama.

My extra insider tip for you is
