About Me
My name is Trish McNeill, and I am a travel writer and social media manager. I love living in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island because it's a great home base for me while I plan and prepare for other trips. I grew up here, have family here, and have friends here more/less

You have to go to
One must-see site is the historic Downtown Waterfront, which is especially full of excitement when a cruise ship is in.
Here's one fun activity you can do
Check out the amazing restaurants and bars downtown.
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
The Farmers Market is a great place to get local products and produce. It's also fun because you'll likely run into at least 15 people you know.
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
When in PEI, you must try the seafood. Lobster at the wharf in in a perfect location. If you're interested in trying out some of PEI's craft beers, then head up the street to Gahan House.
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
1. Spend the morning strolling around downtown and visit Timothy's Coffee Shop for a quick breakfast.
2. Finish your coffee down by the waterfront so you can explore Confederation Landing.
3. Go to the beach in Rustico
4. Do the Gulf Shore drive from Rustico to Cavendish.
5. Do *something* in Cavendish (Anne of Green Gables House, Avonlea, beach, walking trails, play golf.
6. Go to Carrs Oyster Bar for supper.
My extra insider tip for you is
Get out of town. Trust me, it's not hard to do since it's not a small place. You shouldn't come to PEI without visiting the beaches, going golfing, going deep sea fishing in Rustico, or checking out some of the tourist attractions in Cavendish.
