About Me
My name is Steve, and I am a pharmacist. I love living in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island because I have access to the best of urban life (arts and culture, restaurants, and sporting events) and access to nature all within minutes of home.

You have to go to
The downtown core is full of charm. It has historically significant buildings, local cafes and restaurants, artisans and galleries, shopping, lots of performance spaces and a beautiful waterfront.
Here's one fun activity you can do
Take in some local musical or theatrical entertainment in one of the numerous performance spaces. There's something going on every night, especially on the weekends.
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
My favourite place in the city, since childhood, is Victoria Park. It has a beautiful waterfront boardwalk, a playground with a pool for the kids and it often hosts outdoor festivals and events.
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
Terre Rouge (named for the red soil our Island is famous for) serves us an eclectic mix of comfort food and fusion dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. It's a local favourite and has received some national acclaim.
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
1. A walk in Victoria Park
2. Visit a historically significant site
3. Lunch on Victoria Row (or Terre Rouge)
4. A matinee at the Confederation Centre.
5. Enjoy a local microbrewery (Gahan or Upstreet)
6. A late dinner with live entertainment!
My extra insider tip for you is
Most people want to come in the summer (July and August), but if you're interested in food, September is the time to be here. The Fall Flavours Festival goes all month long at venues across the Island, and it's my favourite time of the year!
