About Me
My name is Piplyaporn, and I am a book seller. I love living in Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai because because we have our own culture called Lanna, which makes this city unique. The people here are also very nice and laid-back, and the city is surrounded by beautiful mountains. If more/less

You have to go to
Mae Kampong Village. It's a small village in the middle of the jungle—very beautiful and quiet. It's only one hour away from the city center, and you can also stay with the locals there as well.
Here's one fun activity you can do
Go swimming in Mae Ngat Reservoir
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
I really like "Kad Na Mor." It's a night market on Huay Kaeo Road, where you can buy cheap clothes and foods. It's very popular place for students in Chiang Mai.
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
You should definitely go get Khao Soi at Penny's !!! It's the best khao soi I've eaten so far. It's on Suthep Road Soi 7, close to Chiang Mai University.
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
1. If you're a morning person, the first place you should go to is "Kad Luang," which is the biggest market in Chiang Mai. You can buy some local food there for breakfast.
2. If it gets hot, you probably want to find some shade to chill and relax for a while. I would recommend going to "Huay Tung Thao" to sit in the Thai-style hut by the lake.
3. Before it gets dark, head back to the city and visit some temples in town.
4. If you want to party like a local, go have fun in the area called Nimmanhaemin. There are a lot of clubs and bars where locals love to hang out at night.
My extra insider tip for you is
You should rent a motorcycle to explore the city. It's much cheaper and more convenient than taking a taxi or red cab.
