About Me
My name is Rena Espinoza, and I am a manager. I love living in Scottsdale, Arizona because there's always something to do. It's event driven, with tons of entertainment and food options, and the city is conveniently laid out so you can get anywhere easily.
You have to go to
Old Town Scottsdale is the hub of everything related to food and entertainment: movies, shopping, restaurants, bars and museums. The best part is that everything is within walking distance from each other.
Here's one fun activity you can do
It depends on the season, since there are tons of events, but one year-round fun thing to do is riding bikes through Old Town or hiking Camelback Mountain.
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
Kyoto Scottsdale at the Waterfront (currently under re-modeling) is my favorite place to eat, have a drink and start the night off. It's the "Cheers" of Scottsdale "where everybody knows your name." Although its tucked away with no signage and no advertising, it seems to always be busy with locals and travelers.
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
It's so hard to choose one meal, so I'll have to say a Taco Tuesday is the best weekly food event to participate in. You can find awesome taco specials all over!
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
1- Go to the Phoenix Open
2. Attend a Spring-training Game
3. Visit Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art then eat at one of the restaurants in the mall area.
4. Hike Camelback Mountain
5. Sunday Funday! bar hop the Old Town corridor on Sunday. Start with brunch at one of the many restaurants.
4. Attend the Scottsdale Culinary Festival
5. Go to Talking Stick Resort for a fun pool party in the summer and, of course, the casino is fun year round.
