About Me
My name is Hasna, and I am a student. I love living in Bandung, Java because the weather here is so lovely, especially in the rainy season. Bandung is well-known as food heaven, because you can find hundreds of local dishes here.

You have to go to
The Lembang area, which is near Bandung city. You can visit a lot of places, such as tea plantation, strawberry garden, Tangkuban Perahu Crater, Cikole (kind of like a pine forest), Pasar Lembang (buy fresh milk), Farmhouse (the hobbit house look-a-like) and much more.
Here's one fun activity you can do
Camp at the top of Mount Moko with the view of city lights.
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
Sunday Shopping Market named Gasibu. It's a huge traditional market which sells everything that can be sold, such as food, beverages, second-hand clothes, books, kitchen stuff - everything - and with crazy-cheap prices. For example, I bought 3 pairw of socks for only IDR 5000 (US$1= IDR 13000). Besides cheap, every time I go there I love watching lots of people bargaining, seeing people that don't have much money buying lots of things they need there; observing the sellers compete with each other while screaming in order to promote their goods. It's also crowded and not always easy to walk.
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
Street food is the best, and there's lots in Bandung, especially near the university area. The second choice is The Kiosk. It's like restaurant, but it sells many kinds of ethnic Sundanese food (West Java). You just have to go to one place to try several local dishes.
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
1. Start at Alun-Alun Bandung
2. Then, go to the Asian-African Museum
2. Walk along Asia-Africa Street, then Braga Street (PS: where to find night life? This is the place).
3. Bandung Lautan Api Museum
4. Lembang area.
5. For lunch, go to Natural Resto Lembang (eat Nasi Liwet strawberry, our traditional methods to cook rice, but modernized with strawberry)
6. Djuanda National Park (better than going to Lembang Area in my opinion, but to each his own, of course).
7. Tebing Keraton, eat in D'Pakar Cafe (the food is standard, but you can see the city from the top, and it's relaxing).
8. Gedung Sate (Governor's Office).
9. Shop at Paris Van Java, if you like shopping. It's also the most-visited mall in Bandung, or try many street food, or go to nice Bar at the top of city.
My extra insider tip for you is
It's a basic thing, but really don't make an expectation based on photos you see on the Internet. Usually, traveler ask me to go with them to one place they saw online and end up with them upset because the place "doesn't look like the photos on the Internet".
