About Me
My name is Monica, and I am a student pursuing a degree in medicine. I love living in Bandung, Java because it's one of Indonesia's main cities, where the culture is still kept by its people. It's not too big, busy and not overcrowded like the other big cities, but more/less

You have to go to
Tebing Keraton (Keraton Cliff)
Here's one fun activity you can do
Have fun in Trans Studio theme park and ride Yamaha Racing Coaster that has backwards movement
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
Braga street. It's a nice, old area of Bandung. Some local artists sell their paintings there, too. There are some nice cafés and a really nice but affordable old restaurant there as well
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
The Kiosk. It's a foodcourt-style restaurant, with all the best cuisine in Bandung in the menu. Try Batagor (fried meatball and tofu with peanut sauce).
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
I suggest you to start early!
1. Catch the sunrise in Tebing Keraton.
2. Do a walking tour starting from alun-alun Bandung (city square) on Asia-Africa Street to Braga Street.
3. Go to Bukit Moko (Moko Hill) for the view and enjoy the pine forest there.
4. Watch cultural dance and music performances in Saung Angklung Udjo.
5. See Gedung Sate, currently being used as Governor's office.
6. Street food for dinner on Cibadak Street (for Muslims, be careful because they also sell non-halal food there).
My extra insider tip for you is
Don't forget to bring your umbrella, because it rains pretty often in Bandung. Take the public transportation called "angkot" to get the local's vibe better. If you are lost or confused about something, just ask the people - they're friendly and willing to help you1 :)
