"Sure! If you like billiards, a cozy and comfortable atmosphere ..."

You have to go to
Naive Art Museum! It's at the very top of my Zagreb to-see list.
It's a very interesting and unique museum, showing the type of art that developed in Croatia among uneducated people. However, just by seeing their paintings, you are amazed!

Here's one fun activity you can do
During winter, go ice skating on a beautiful outdoor skating rink, right on the main train station square.
During spring, reserve at least a day for our mountain Medvednica, there are beautiful hiking paths, with places to rest along the way. You can also take a bus if you get too tired. Plus, the view is just amazing. It's not too crowded, either, and you can enjoy the wonderful nature.
During summer, check out the Summer on Stross, a festival that goes from May to October, with daily workshops, events and concerts.
During autumn, find the artistic movie theater Tuškanac and go see a movie there. We only do titles in Croatian, movies are in original languages so you will be able to understand.

Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
Maksimir Park, with outdoor concerts, place to meet locals and experience the green of Zagreb.

Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
Personally, I'm more of a beer and wine lover, since Zagreb's cooking tradition is pretty similar to the continental European heritage. Go to Medvedgrad, the address is Ilica 56. It has a beautiful terrace, homemade food and locally brewed beer--no reservations needed
However, if you're not visiting the coast of Croatia, go to Ribice i Tri toÄkice for a fish meal:)

Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
1. Dolac Market, open until 2 pm, offering fresh food and souvenirs.
2. Naive Art Museum
3. Zagreb Funicular
4. LotrÅ¡Äak Tower

My extra insider tip for you is
Sure! If you like billiards, a cozy and comfortable atmosphere while enjoying a drink and appreciating locals playing some good rock music (concert every Thursday, Friday and Saturday), check out the BBF - Bikers Beer Factory on Savska Street.
