You have to go to
Lithia Park: This gem, right in the downtown area, has formal gardens, trails and a lovely creek through its center.
Here's one fun activity you can do
Attend a play at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The season runs 8 months of the year, featuring plays by the Bard, as well as new works and classics. There are always ways to get a discount ticket.
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
The reservoir at the top of Lithia Park is a great way to cool off on hot summer days.
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
Cucina Biazzi has fabulous Italian cuisine in a quaint atmosphere.
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
Have breakfast at Brother's, stroll through Lithia Park up into the trail system in the water shed, have lunch at Sesame right along Ashland Creek, head up to Mt. Ashland for a few hours of skiing (winter) or the water slide at Emigrant Lake (summer). After, have dinner at Cucina Biazzi, followed by a play at OSF. Meet up with cast members at Martino's for a nightcap!
