About Me
My name is Pierangela De Martin, and I am a tourist guide . I love living in Rome because it's a never-ending story, and you never end to learn and explore. I'll wander around and find some new details; staying in a crowded market, listening to old ladies chatting about the more/less

You have to go to
Rome from the Top: Choose your personal point of view from the Terrace of Vittoriano or Pincio or from the Gianicolo (Hill). You can realize how the city is a big melting pot: a pacific mixture of architectures, styles, decoration, statues, towers, quiet corners, noisy streets, green parks and fresh water.
Here's one fun activity you can do
Will you have fun ? Well, I’m very proud to promote myself: play with me in the Roman Forum, be a funny insider in a Museum (according to your interests), take your selfies in the most terrific places, or join me for a relaxing homemade aperitif in Garbatella .You 'll have fun for sure.
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
Garbatella district, it's only 10 minutes from the city centre. Get lost, read the names of the narrow streets and guess the origin of this neighborhood. Garbatella represents a challenge to the frantic life, with colourful little gardens, shared courtyards, and a quiet atmosphere that'll take you to a cozy little village.
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
Sangallo ai Coronari, Piazza San Salvatore in Lauro—it's my favorite: great place, great meal, with only fresh and seasonal ingredients. Take a seat, close the menu and ask for what Chef Paolo suggests. Wine doesn’t’ also joke!
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
All the people I have met till now want to see the symbols of Rome: the iconic Colosseo, Fontana di Trevi and San Pietro.

If you're a little bit confused about the orientation of the Eternal City, take an hop- on-hop-off bus and solve the problem. If you like to walk, let's go—I'm ready!
After that I will suggest :
1. Visit San Ivo alla Sapienza, the unbeatable masterpiece of Borromini , a genius of architecture. While I’m writing probably there are some restoration works but I hope its stunning dome would be visible soonest.
2. Spend half an hour or more in a local market crowded of residents and screaming sellers, it’s a good training and sometimes you can also taste some good street food.
3. Book in advance the Galleria Borghese focused on the masterpieces of Bernini and Caravaggio .
4. Are you still alive? Take a taxi or the subway to reach Testaccio district and join the nightlife.

My extra insider tip for you is
Wherever you are, take your time and enjoy the beautiful sunset. The Mediterranean light gives special vibes. From .Aventino Hill is super!
