Hernán Hermoza

About Me
My name is Hernán Hermoza, and I am a private guide at MACHU PICCHU Tour Guides in The Sacred Valley. I love living in Cusco because I'm from The Sacred Valley. This place is amazing, and we're more than blessed. The Sacred Valley is so beautiful, with mountains and more/less

You have to go to
Machu Picchu. The Citadel of Machu Picchu is considered the main tourist attraction in Peru and of the Inca Empire. It's one of the most important heritage sites in the world.
Here's one fun activity you can do
The Inca Trail - Sacred Valley It's the most famous hike in South America – perhaps the world – a must-do and life-changing experience. Hiking the Inca Trail through the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu is both arduous and awe-inspiring. Four days of cold, pain and exhaustion dissipate as the mist lifts to reveal the emerald peaks and terraced ruins of this mystical ancient city.
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
Pisaq, This trek is ideal for those who really want to be in an area that is scarcely seen by tourists with only nature surrounding them. Amaru, situated above the Sacred Valley of the Incas in the remote highlands above Pisac, offers a shorter trek that combines an authentic cultural experience, and close proximity to Cusco. Perceive the land through the eyes of a native Quechua, and learn about their worldview and the connection to the sacred lakes and mountains that surround you.
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
You should go to the local restaurant La Cusqueñita Restaurant and Pachapapa.
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
1. Urubamba market
2. Pisa market
3. llantaytambo
4. Inca Trail
My extra insider tip for you is
Explore like a local. SKIP THE TOURIST TRAPS and hire a guide from a local company. I was born in Urubamba, Cusco, where I've been living and taking tours all my life. I know everything here so I can make the arrangements for our customers, including itineraries, making reservations, bookings for hotels, private tour guide, and private driver, restaurants and any other arrangements that are required.
