About Me
My name is Angela, and I am a businesswoman and the owner of the gift shop Little Blue. I love living in Los Angeles, California because of its great weather, diversity, amazing food and the beaches!
You have to go to
A day at the Pacific Ocean
Here's one fun activity you can do
Because LA is so ethnically diverse, you'll have fun sampling the food.
Don't forget to check out one of my favorite places
A local family owned Lebanese Restaurant, Hayat's Kitchen, in North Hollywood. The food is fantastic, and the family and employees have become friends over the years. I take people, who are visiting here, and they're always blown away with how great it is.
Enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant
I have such a long list of places I still want to try! I would start with the "LA Weekly's 99 Essential Restaurants in LA" list.
Here's a doable bucket list for you to do in one day
1. Take one of the canyons into Malibu (have a whole beach day).

2. Hollywood Lake/Hollywood Sign (Little known reservoir built in 1924).

3. Chinatown, Olvera Street, and Little Tokyo (This can be done by metro link).

4. Griffith Observatory (See the show at night and the great view).

5. Skip Hollywood, go to Echo Park Lake (People watching, bird watching and you can rent a little paddle boat in the lake and have a picnic, where the locals go).
My extra insider tip for you is
I meet tourists all the time who are staying at a hotel in Anaheim. DO NOT STAY IN ANAHEIM. That is my best tip. It's so far outside of Los Angeles, it will take you about 2-3 hours to drive anywhere from there. You can go and visit Disneyland, but you do not need to stay in a hotel there. The traffic is real. It's not exaggerated by the media. If your map says 20 miles, expect it to take an hour drive, at least! But don't let that scare you, just bring drinks, snacks and some good music and you will be set.
