Casco bay, Portland

Portland, ME is a beautiful area to visit. Casco Bay is just beautiful. Over 200 islands, some inhabited and some not. Take the 90 minute harbor cruise at the wharf and see the beauty of the area. So tranquil and serene.

Portland famous lighthouse called ” Portland Head” is an isolated spot along the Maine coast where it is rumored that Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote his famous poem “The Lighthouse”. It is  built expensively with light rubble-stone and lime.
